Now that's the damn fight to be made.

Just a shame this ******edly run sport allows the two biggest promotional companies not to deal with each other.

Rios is also a fighter who has no defense and walks straightforward, let us not kid ourselves into believing he has a chance. If the fight gets made Rios will get peppered from the 3rd round on.

Did I just read you want to see Pac/Paulie? wtf

In this scenario the scripted part is Pacquiao brutalising Rios with the off chance that Rios pulls off the upset.
This is the sort of whining we've got to look forward to.

Pacman vs Rios, can't wait. It will have more action than the Mayweather fight.

yeah more than pac rios right now. if rios gets a 140 strap or whips a 147 top 10 contender than id love to see him fight pac. he doesnt deserve it and more importantly hes not ready at all for pac.

Boxing fans on this site amaze me. You tell a lot of boxing fans that Pacquiao is not no. 1 pound for pound and they will look you in the face and laugh or throw out insults. Yet here they are in this thread trying to justify a Pacquiao v Abril fight.

Pacquiao competes in the 147lb division. Rios competes in the 140lb where he by no means a top fighter. Pacquiao is ( according to some) the number 1 pound for pound fighter, yet him fighting a guy who has just dipped his feet in the 140lb division makes sense? A guy who fought tooth and nail with Alvarado and got a boxing lesson when he fought Abril? GTFO, it is no different to Canelo beating the breaks off of Lopez which people rightfully criticise.

Lucas, Danny, and Marcos suffer from oscar and bobs **** measuring. i seriously think pac and may are fading faster than we assume. give the new dogs some shots. id love for a 140 tourney right now. think about it. Garcia, Matthysse, Khan, Rios, Maidana, and Marquez. Juan can be traded out for whoever is decent and willing. That would be exciting than the super six tourney.
