He does not suck, lacks defense, yes but what Ríos lacks in defense he makes up(by a lot) in strength, condition & heart!! It's easy to say that those guys could beat him, & most likely 2 of them for sure could(Matthysse & Marquéz) but until they face him, no one really knows cause he is force to be reckoned with & he does bring it on!!& the guy he just beat(Alvarado)was no slouch, he was a undefeated proven warrior..& it's funny that u mentioned Peterson(well it doesn't matter which one, since they both fight basically the same)I guess u don't know he already beat 1 of the Peterson's(Anthony) & even thou Peterson was disqualified(for low blows), Rios was easily dominating the fight & hurt Peterson a few times & even scored a knock down so there was NO way Peterson was going to win that fight at the time of the stoppage, if anything it looked like Peterson was gonna get KO'd!..

Obviously you don't know **** about boxing! Peterson ain't **** and Garcia is still untested. Garcia got hot off of Khan who was rebounding from a loss when he fought him. Also, Garcia couldn't even finish a washed up Morales. Marquez is my boy, however he is too old for a young lion like Rios. Lucas is the only one who stands a chance and Rios might even knock em out. Rios is the top dog in the division until proven otherwise.

Sorry but I think Marquez is just too much for Rios at this point but I do think that Rios should take on a rinky dink champion like Garcia for now and go from there. I know Rios will knock out Garcia easily but Marquez is just too inteligent too get ****** in to fight Rios in the inside. Marquez would box him in and out all night long...you saw when Alvarado was using his jab Rios just couldn't do much. Rios needs to get inside to do damage, Marquez wouldn't allow it.
