Donaire would UTTERLY OUTCLASS & possibly OBLITERATE Rigondeaux

I actually think it's going to be a mild type of fight, border lining on Boring, mainly because both fighters are great counter punchers and not pressure fighters...
with that I see two fighters who are going to give one another too much respect inside the ring because of their speed and accuracy.
a fight won't break out until the 6th-7th round....
doesn't matter though, it's a match up in styles I'd like to see, for the pure science and talent level, but other than that, it's not something I am dying for like another Rios-Alvarado fight....Comment

its going to be another boring donaire fight. anytime you match up two defensive counter punchers its going to be an ugly boring fight. i want to see it to just so we can see all these rigo******s stfu when donaire utterly outclasses rigo.I actually think it's going to be a mild type of fight, border lining on Boring, mainly because both fighters are great counter punchers and not pressure fighters...

Put yourself in Donaire's shoes. Would you fight a no name with only 12 fights? There's no logical reason to take the fight, no matter what the fans want. Donaire kicks his ass regardless.Comment

im not a donaire critic or a rigo critic but I can see how two counter punchers don't make the best fight for viewing, sometimes they make good fights, other times the match ups are less than desired.Comment

Siiign the contract big boy! Siiiiign the contract!I dont think he has a chance at all to be honest.
Both are great boxers with a slight edge to Rigo's more fundamentally sound style. Athleticism is a slight edge to Donaire. Size is a big advantage to Donaire who is 5'6-5'7 68 inch reach compared to Rigo's 5'4-5'5 frame with 66 inch reach. Chin is clearly advantage to Donaire who has faced big puncher Darchinyan and took his shots very well as oppose to Rigo who was stunned/hurt a couple of times vs Marroquin. Speed is about even. Experience clearly goes to Donaire. Amateur is not the same as professional. Rigo has not faced the same caliber of opponents as Donaire has.
Another big factor is age. Rigo is 32. Considering he is cuban he might be closer to 35. Donaire is only 29 and in the middle of his prime. Donaire's best punch is the counter left hook. Rigo got hurt/stunned a couple times by Marroquin's left hook.
I just dont see how Rigo is going to beat donaire.
I find it truly laughable that a Top 5 p4p fighter, 4 division champion, with KO of the years vs two other top 10 p4p fighters, would be afraid of a 11 win fighter whose best name on his resume is Marroquin and Cordoba.
Its Rigondeaux who has to prove himself to be worthy to step in the ring with Donaire not the other way around.Comment

Sounds like a joke when it is said Donaire would out class the 2 time Olympic champ and possibly best amateur fighter of all time. If anything Donaire would have to be so unconventional to even confuse the guy, but with over 400 amateur fights; I dont see Rigo getting frustrated or concerned with skill!Comment

That is just ******, that statement is! Why fight a 2 time Olympic! gold medalistk? what a ****** question!Comment

olympic medals from cuba and having a great amateur record mean ABSOLUTELY NOTHING in professional prize fighting.Sounds like a joke when it is said Donaire would out class the 2 time Olympic champ and possibly best amateur fighter of all time. right on, anyone with a good AM background should not be allowed to pad their records and earn their sht in the pro's, they've done enough in the AM's
just throw the debuters in with the p4p bestComment
