He just might. I'm definitely sold on him, I hope he proves his fans right against Mares. I've seen a lot of "Donaire needs to fight Mares" rather than "Donaire needs to fight the winner of Mares-Moreno," like people are not really considering that Moreno might beat Mares.Comment

Mares - Moreno the two best at 118 does not translate to them being #2 at 122. Mares beat Morel another 118 for his tittle and Moreno have 0 fights at the weight. They are talented, but they do not deserve that ranking.Comment

There were numerous posters in the 10/5 threads hyping up this Japanese kid like he was official when he wasn't in the first place. Here you are, defending the idea that he was; Arum controls what you think because you can't do it for yourself, deal with it bud.Are you really just going to post the same thing over and over? You're only weapon in this discussion is pretending that people were saying Nishioka is an ATG or some amazing fighter, which no one ever said, and throwing in some comment about Arum.
You really need to get the sand out of your vagina.
You really need to get Arum out of yours.Comment

well that means he is a terrible professional, he should train with a spark for every fight i guess thats why he got his a55 whooped by abrilDonaire is miles above Rigo.
It's just like Rios said, when he was training to fight for Abril he wasn't excited for Abril the fighter, he was just focused on weight and normal training routine, but when it was announced he's fighting Alvarado he had that spark in training.
It's the same for Donaire, who the hell would get excited to fight some prospect with 10 or 11 wins?Comment

Again, do you not comprehend the fact that he fought nobodies on his home soil for nearly all of those eight years? Did you forget that Marquez had already been in wars with Vasquez before reaching the age of 37 and fighting the beast that is Nishi and actually doing decent?Divisional rankings are based on accomplishments, not fighting ability. Why is that so hard to understand? Nishioka was the #1 because of what he accomplished. You don't become #1 just because you look like the most skilled fighter, you have to actually prove yourself against the best in your division. I knew Ward was the most skilled super middleweight in the world before the super 6 even started but I didn't say he was #1 until he proved it. That's how bold Rigo tards are.
Light, I use to think you were a good poster, but this garbage that you're spewing about résumés is terrible. Calzhage was the goat, then. He beat Hopkins and RJJ while being undefeated his whole career! He's the truth, just like Nishi.
I couldn't care less about Rigo, he could lose to a nobody tomorrow and that would be cool, but to parrot Donaire on the reasons why he won't fight him is pathetic. 'Nishi is proven, he's the best guy in the division'.... against whom has he attained that standing? The sad part is I'm starting to believe that you honestly think that Nishi is better than Rigo, Moreno, and Mares.Last edited by deejd; 10-15-2012, 10:06 AM.Comment

Right, so get that easy money and silence the critics. Kellerman won't have to bother him with that lingering question anymore and NSB will finally stop hyping this clown Rigo.Comment

nobody knows who donaire is, if you ask to a casual fan they will think it is a new clothing line, Rigondeaux is better known to the World do to his two olympic Gold medals and the defection, he was in every news paper when he was caught in Brasil witl Lara.Comment

I think we should wait to see the fight. Considering what both did at 18, and their proven talents, the winner of this could well vault into top contender status to Donaire in a night. For now, I think Rigo is pretty clearly #1 behind Donaire, but Mares or Moreno will instantly have beaten a better fighter, inside the weight, than anyone Rigo has faced. The class is coming together beautifully, but in terms of who is rated where it's not where it will be.Comment
