i say canelo should fight cotto after cotto beats trout. canelo will get picked up apart against floyd. i like the kids skills and all, but he is still too green for floyd. let him test out a top 5 guy before he gets in there with floyd. floyd wins easily

yeah but mayweather said canelo wasn't on his level yet,that then people would say he beat a very inexperienced fighter,i think he said this before fighting ortiz,if mayweather wants to fight him he will,floyd is the one who will decide,marquez asked for him after one of his fights and mayweather immediatly accepted,he can do the same here,if mayweather and canelo don't fight it's because mayweather doesn't want to,he always says he chooses who he fights and on his terms,which is fine and he can choose who ever he wants to,maybe he still feels canelo needs to fight someone else first which is fine

Actually, Canelo's promoter Delahoya also said Canelo was not ready for Mayweather.

Nonito is cherry picking since he moved up, now he is fighting an old past his prime fighter, other than him I can't recall another Champ doing what Canelo's, the K' brothers are fighting all comers, Mares, Moreno, Salido, Gonzalez, Ponce, are looking and fighting good opp., Broner is an A$$, Froch, Martinez, Kessler, Ward etc.. got credit for their success

haters are going to hate anyway, but the kid is not doing anything to make his resume better, he is there because his looks and not his boxing ability, he is been pampered in a very hard sport and real true fans and fighters don't like that $h1t, I have no respect for the guy and haven't watch any of his fights since he was given the belt, if he does step up I'll give him all the credit just like I'm very critic right now.

I cannot believe this guy. He hasn't fought or beaten anyone who would rank in the top 10 at Junior Welterweight (including the journeyman he beat when Sulamain gave him the WBC belt) and now he thinks he is capable of beating the three of the four best P4P fighters in the world. He needs to beat Lara or Vanes Martirosan or K9 or someone of note before he is even considered for a fight with one of these three guys. Hell, even a win over Zab Judah would give him some credibility. Right now, he has none.

Thats not how the business works. Canelo pulls MONEY, BIG MONEY! Those fighters will NOT do the numbers that a Canelo fight brings in against them. Lara/Vanes/Trout, not even Cotto does Canelo numbers.
