  • Arum is delusional if he thinks the fans want Manny to fight the winner of this fight. Only one fight makes sense after Marquez and it's Mayweather. As far as I'm concern, fight Mayweather or retire. No other bout matters for Manny at this point in his career.

If he's a natural 140lber in the wrong division, why wouldn't the fight be held at 140? Fighting either guy at 147 is a joke and so has Manny been the last 3 or 4 years.

        • Bob the Golden ***/Jedi Arum.... Using the Jedi mind trick to make the most cash possible, even when it's painfully obvious for everyone to see.

          • Majority of posters here says that Paq is done. He's past his prime. Marquez is expected to murder Paq this December. Paq lost his last fight to Bradley. So I don't think he'll even make it next year.

The results could be made public and if a fighter turns them down, they would be to blame.
This post is right on. And Schaefer already suggested they do this but arum does not like this idea. So according to u, arum is to blame.

              • Arum isn't learning. He needs to do like Floyd does, and hide the fact that he's lining up fights one after another.

If everyone does what Floyd does --retire whenever he wants to, fight once a year, duck fights, take long vacations-- boxing will cease to exist.

                    • Pacs last 2 fights have been far from dominating performances and I expect the JMM fight to make 3 unconvincing fights in a row for him. Alvarado-Rios is already projected as being a FOTY candidate, why is this so bad again?
