I'd love for this to happen. Middleweight is so strong, but we just need the correct fights to show it!

Pirog is totally unreliable. he pulled out of the N'jikam fight after slipping on ice and then pulls out against Golovkin.

honestly I think Pirog is totally irrelevant at 160. his one big win was against Jacobs and since then he's done nothing execpt pull out of big fight and get stripped of his title.

let guys who deserve to be there be there. I'd say Golovin, Geale, Macklin and Quillin would be great. Pirog needs to fight somebody like Andy Lee before he's even in the converation.

sorry Pirog fans but seriously tell me one thing he's done that makes him more dererving than Golovin, Geale, Macklin and Quillin.

I don't deny he's not as deserving as those other ones, but the NJikam fight was never close to made, to pull out of. NJikam made a joke offer to fight in Equatorial Guinea, a non starter, knowing full well it wasn't gonna be accepted. If was just a shortcut to an undeserved interim belt.

I would like to see a tourney at Middle weight but once you lose your out none of this second chance stuff. Tourney take to long if you go points like the super six.

I didn't know about him wanting to fight in africa, that crazy I was going off an article on this site

An unfortunate left shoulder injury will postpone a possible April defense for WBO middleweight champion Dmitry Pirog (19-0, 15KOs). He was going to face former WBA-interim champion Hassan N'Dam N'jikam (26-0, 17KOs) of France on April 6th. The fight has now been placed on hold until further notice.

I guess it was never going to happen but Pirog slipping on ice does make for a funnier excuse.
