With the change in trainers hopefully khan and manny can fight at 147. I think thats the fight Khan needs because he'd be forced to fight smart or get KTFO.

I see what you mean but the problem I'd have here is, its going to be hard enough for Khan to remain disciplined to box and learn how to defend himself against anyone decent, never mind against a hard-hitting southpaw who throws shots awkward angles.

It's not that he's got no chin--he can take a punch or two--it's that he's got no brain. A guy with his advantages in size and speed should just sit back and pop/pop/pop and, when the guy is cut up, then go for the knockout.

Khan is a cry baby, always talking about how he's been done wring, how Freddie didn't give him enough attention and so on. Well if we look at Khan's last 4 or 5 fights on the Main Event stage, he hasn't done to well, hasn't dominated anyone, and last I checked, was recently knocked out. Your trainer trains you, then you must do your part in the ring. You didn't, won't be accountable, and blame others. If you don't know how to fight by now, get out of the sport. And until you start dominating and knocking out credible opponents, shut up.

Not to bash Khan because I do think he's a good fighter with clear flaws but I think he believes he's a bigger star than what he really is. A big named trainer isn't going to have just one fighter, he's going to have many fighters in the gym. Look at Robert Garcia, he's no different.

Khan wants to be The Man in the gym and it's unlikely with a big named trainer. Saying all that, I think Hunter will be good for him though because he's a disciplinarian and will get the best out of Khan. I personally don't think Roach was the problem though.
