This was kind of tough, but I ended up going with Golovkin. I personally consider Alvarez a prospect, even though he has a belt, and yes I am aware that if you want to call yourself a champion, blah blah blah...

But some of the things that were said about Golovkin after the Proksa fight were just silly. I thought people were trolling....pretty much by the NEXT DAY, there was a thread for every Golovkin fantasy fight, people were saying he could clean out 154-168.

What about Proksa made people think that because of the way Golovkin disposed of him that he was boxing's savior? Proksa was on a good run of stoppage wins, yes, albeit against nobodies and a shot "never-was" in Sylvester. I was very impressed by the fight, but will reserve my judgement on the guy until the proper time.

Alvarez and Broner, at least for the most part, seem to be thought of for what they might turn out to be, as opposed to what the ARE; unlike Golovkin, which is why I picked him.

I'm surprised Broner is leading this. There about 5 people who severely overrate him, compared to dozens that overrate Alvarez or Rigondeaux or even Donaire.

There are more than a few Floyd fans who hate Broner though. He makes everyone hate him.

cmon bojangles this is NSB, where what you say to hype yourself effects how people rate your skill set and resume.

There are threads of ATG's beating up Broner. There are threads of Golovkin being able to beat up ATG's.

NSB picks who's more overrated: Adrien Broner.

Definitely ginge, and until he actually beats a genuine world class fighter at the division, that's how I'll continue to regard him.And a relatively fresh one at that, and not faded fighters like Cintron,or smaller, blown up fighters like Hatton and Lopez,or outright shot fighters like Mosley.
