** Yeah, Toney went down and slid on his buttocks for a couple of feet. He never gave Johnson the rematch he wanted either. It's really funny that Toney has gained an extra 50% of his bodyweight, 75-80 lbs, and he and his fans deny he used steroids.

If Big Mac or Barry gained 50% of their body weight they would've been 330 and 275 lbs respectively and the purists would've all died of heart attacks as they screamed themselves cold!
James Toney was a 200 pound quarterback in high school, and then dropped massive poundage when he went into professional boxing.

I dunno, looked like the impact was on his left side of his chest and to me, it's a balance shot and not really a KD.

it hit him flush on the snout.
I've watched him since the Nunn fight and forgot how small he was back then. Damn, looks like a little kid compared to now.

If you're going to hurt him hit him in the body.

Here's Reggie Johnson dropping JT in one of the only two times he's been down. The kd came early in the 2nd round. Toney got up and didn't seem the least bit hurt. He went on to win a SD over a very game Johnson in a close and competitive fight.
i believe he was hurt vs SOsa? do you happen to have a clip of it?

Someone mentioned Wladimir Klitschko as a guy who Toney may have trouble with, i believe it will take a guy with very good technical ability to beat Toney, i don't think he will get beat by a ''head hunter'', another guy i believe could give him trouble, is another former cruiserweight Juan Carlos Gomez.

I was not implying Klitcshko was a head hunter btw.

Yeah, I hear Richard Simmons dropped massive poundage too, as did Jarod of "Subway" sandwich fame. Ophra too!

But Brewster would not be able to land his shots clean on Toney.

Even in the clip above, the KD comes from Toney being off balance.

You need to be a very skillful boxer with poer in order to beat Toney.
