I've no idea why McCrory dropped his right hand like that.

I would like to watch more old boxing but its hard to come by and when you find the videos they look like something that was recorded off a sega game gear TV tuner

Plenty of good quality footage of Donald Curry. He was a fantastic boxer in his prime though I believe though don't quote me on it, he had a lot of problems outside the ring and liked to party & such which lead to his downfall. During his Welter reign to me, he was magnificent.
He didn't have much/any upper body movement TBH but he was just so smooth of his feet. Great at range, mid-range & in the pocket.
Despite being well past it & out of his class he was still able to give prime McCallum, Nunn & Terrible Terry at his ultimate best a tough nights work. In fact from what I remember he was putting a beating on McCallum until he got caught with a jackpot punch!

If you'd like to watch some old boxing, then I'd recommend watching him. In fact I am making that my selection for tonight; Donald Curry & a bit of The bodysnatcher.

Since Curry was stepping with the Hook, he must have assumed he was coming with a jab. Looks like he was flinching for a Jab.

curry was very underrated as a professional and as a champ... rumors of him being gay this and that, IDK, but I do know, and have had numerous people tell he was, I don't care though, he was a helluva a fighter, and had some sweet highlights as well as some damn near perfect technique.
