To even bring up the Rahman fight as some sort of bragging right to say Povetkin could finish Wlad the same way is about the dumbest I thing I can think of that Kosta could have said. LOL.

Kostya Tszyu is much better for Povetkin than Teddy Atlas.

i won't agree just yet but atlas was right at the time when he said povetkin wasn't ready. let's not forget povetkin was to make 2.5 million which means atlas was willing to give up $250000(10% of fighters purse)for the health of his fighter. tszyu got him past rahman who didn't exactly come to fight. let's see him vs better competition. povetkin has until july to invoke his mandatory status vs wladimir so he might get one more fight in. povetkin still got pushed back by 2 or 3 of rahman's jabs so it's too early to give tszyu any credit.

This article isn't a good indication of how Tszyu really is. I'v read 2 or 3 articles with him regarding Povetkin and everything he says has sounded very respectful and logical this is just some hyperbole.

He talks about pushing Povetkin's limits and getting him into top condition (something Kostya is know for) and most importantly has a positive outlook trying to breed confidence in Sasha, the opposite of what Atlas was about. Tszyu said he knows the Klychko's personally, likes and respects them a great deal and that Volodymyr is the #1 HW in the world but he also believes Povetkin can win. He wants him to strive to be the best possible and that is something that can only be accomplished by fighting the best.
