there's no way canelo is placed infront of this beast.. and there's no way mayrunner accepts this challenge.. he's too mucho of a risk to lose his precious 0.. i think a rematch with little chavez (big).. is probably his only realistic chance at making some serious $$.. cotto dont want none of this.. and ward is too big.. other option would be Margarita coming out of retirement.. lol.. or winner of pac/marquez.. lol.. ok.. maybe el perro angulo.. ha ha.. no seriously.. i cant think of anyone who's willing to step into the squared circle after what he did to someone who probably out weighed him by 10+ lbs.. we'll see..

Martinez would murder Canelo and can definitely beat Mayweather if he fights cautiously and smart. Don't know why so many people fail to give Sergio Martinez his props. Dude is a beast.

I don't know why some of you people right Floyd off in a dream match vs Martinez. Are you all banking on size? lol, I really want a clear understanding on why you all feel Sergio wins that fight. No knock against Sergio either, I'm a fan.

I like it, I think Canelo-Martinez would be a war. Both guys love to abandon the gameplan and mix it up. Sergio KO's Jr in a rematch. As far as Floyd is concerned, I don't think he will ever take the fight. Not because he thinks he will lose, but more so because he knows even in a victory he will take some punishment he is not prepared to take at this point in his career or in life.

Yeah but Chavez has no skills so his weight did not matter (for 11 rounds at least)...Sergio is trying to fight fighter who themselves have move up to CHALLENGE themselves. Cotto, Mayweather, Canelo...guys have moved up to challenge themselves....This man will lose the minute he fight GG or Ward, therefore he wants to fight lower weight fighters...yeah he 37 but BHop was 41 when he moved up to 175 lbs and you know why he did it....to challenge himself.

According to some posters on here, Martinez moved down from 168 to pick on "smaller guys" and is ducking Ward in hopes of fighting "pint-sized" guys like Cotto, Floyd or Canelo.

Good luck for Martinez getting Canelo or Mayweather. Canelo would rather fight another 140 pounder before then, and Mayweather would rather go on another retireme-cation (yes, because of Mayweather we must make up ridiculous vocabulary due to no other words to describe them).
