He'd probably lose to both Canelo and Mayweather. But Canelo is a young puncher. And he's a much better boxer than Chavez Jr.. I dont know if he wants to **** with that kid and have a dream about a Mayweather fight. He better go all in with Mayweather or get KO'd by Canelo.

      laughing matter..

there's no way canelo is placed infront of this beast.. and there's no way mayrunner accepts this challenge.. he's too mucho of a risk to lose his precious 0.. i think a rematch with little chavez (big).. is probably his only realistic chance at making some serious $$.. cotto dont want none of this.. and ward is too big.. other option would be Margarita coming out of retirement.. lol.. or winner of pac/marquez.. lol.. ok.. maybe el perro angulo.. ha ha.. no seriously.. i cant think of anyone who's willing to step into the squared circle after what he did to someone who probably out weighed him by 10+ lbs.. we'll see..

i just see how arum saved face with chavez's 12th rnd.. and gbp does not want to lose their only real moneymaker.. besides money..

I'd be very surprised if that happened

1st Mayweather will NEVER fight Martinez, too much risk too little reward and that's the Mayweather way. Mayweather will probably fight Cotto again once Cotto picks up another belt from Trout

Mayweather vs Cotto for a unification bout at 154, huge money.

then if Hatton looks good on the come back he'll probably fight him in 2014.

as for Canelo please, he hasn't faced a real 154 fighter yet and he's been "champ" for almost 2 years (lacking a few months)

GBP will only risk their cash cow on big names like Mayweather or Cotto.

sorry but the boxing business protects it's draws and sadly you aren't.

Chavez rematch is the only realistic fight there

Martinez would murder Canelo and can definitely beat Mayweather if he fights cautiously and smart. Don't know why so many people fail to give Sergio Martinez his props. Dude is a beast.

Martinez has numerous options, and Mayweather is almost within reach. A win against the winner of Cotto/Trout or Canelo will put him right where he wants to be.

Mayweather won't fight Cotto again, he already beat him once. Plus, Cotto/Mayweather wouldn't be a unification bout since both would be defending WBA titles. Cotto isn't signed with GBP, so there's a chance that he would fight Martinez after beating Trout.

Martinez-Canelo would be huge....Martinez via stoppage, round 10

I don't know because Trout signed with Al Haymon, who's Mayweather manager or whatever his title is on team Mayweather. Mayweather did beat Cotto but a lot of people feel that it was a close fight, I don't but a lot of fans do. it'd still be a unification of WBA belts, which doesn't mean siht but i'm sure it'll be billed as it. it's still a huge pay day for both guys.

Mayweather isn't about taking big risks anymore it's just about the money.

Unless something extraordinary happens...None of those guys will fight martinez. Except julio....He's the only one who believes he has an advantage. Cotto & CAnelo would see SM as a threat to the FMJ sweepstakes...& Floyd just will not take on anything that may threaten the Pacquiao fight....Sergio has nowhere to go really. As far as floyd being too small...makes zero sense. "too skilled" is the word to describe sergio. MArtinez is #1 in 54 & 60 divs...Floyd is a title holder in the 54 div...I have no clue wut the problem would be. If a fighter's job is to fight...how come nobody's fighting??
