If you're thinking straight, take off your Manny Pacquiao Nike's and hat, you can see right through what Arum is doing. It's pretty obvious what he's doing. Like, I think everyone sees it but those who are defending it are defending it for the sake of not taking Floyd's side by any means.

It's not if Floyd can fight in April or not, it's the reason Bob Arum is doing this. It's just wrong on so many levels.

      Pac is done, anyway.

Mayweather vs Martinez is more interesting to see.

      Make it happen, Floyd.

so you want him to campaign while training? Training in LA while campaigning in the Philippines?

and this proves?....it's good to have something planned, if floyd comes around they can change the dates, no? otherwise for something that the majority agree likely wont happen, isn't it smart to have a plan b?

          im just asking, anyone?

The 1.3-1.5 Mill that Floyd has been averaging, will be there until the day he falls off hard.
Canelo-Floyd on May 4th i think will do a lot more then the 1.3-1.5 average. From a fan stand point, canelo is huge, the timing helps, and floyd is the biggest draw in boxing... combine those, Pacs fight might get short sold for people saving for Floyd.... if Canelo-Floyd happens.

Both GBP and Toprank doing this, locking dates for their big guys especially if their big guys have tight schedule.

I'm hoping this is just insurance in case negotiations fall apart again. If not, for shame.

                  See my previous post.

YOU might want Mayweather-Pacquiao on April 20th, but Bob Arum DOESN'T. It's that simple.

Let's say if Floyd does unexpected and agrees to April 20th, I can guarantee you Bob Arum will come up with something new to destroy the fight. Some examples are, backing out of 55-45 deal, wanting to make the fight for November to create a stadium underwater, etc.

Floyd is on a long vacation again. He is the king of the world and doesn't give a crap about other people's timeline.

                    50 cent:

"I look at Floyd as my younger brother. You know he earns so much that he just...he spend...just run around and spend, do what he wants. So there's no urgency to anything and when the communication breaks and starts to not be...Look, my concept of TMT is the fight you wanna see...Floyd and Manny Pacquiao. It's actually building the company...we'd build the excitement that keeps Floyd conscious of what's good for business as oppose to...that he go? Then I can sacrifice the company..."

                    Koncz:

"...Floyd has his agenda and he has a right to make his decisions on his timeline and we respect that. On the other hand, we don't want to sit idle either. Some boxers can sit for months at a time and not be affected by that."

if floyds insist May 4th, whose fault it is? still Arum or Pac?

And if floyd accepts that date without any ridiculous demand (like no PPV for pac or 60-40) then he have all the praises in the world.
