May is not an option on Pacquiao, he is running again as a congressman and the elections is in second week of May. I will not be surprise if flomos and floyd itself will insist a May date to duck this fight. Floyd vs Pac dont need Cinco de Mayo or any special holiday, the fight itself is a not only the biggest weekend of boxing but the biggest fight of the decade or might be the biggest fight in the century!

If you think about it, it's actually a smart move by Arum.

If they have a PPV 2 weeks before Floyd does in May, it will take some buys that Floyd would normally get.
