Not yet anyway. After losing like that he should take on some lesser opponents, build up his confidence, work on some things, etc.

Anyone who says Dawson wasn't weight drained and it had no effect on the fight is lying to themselves.

However, Dawson foolishly offered to move down. His handlers should have talked him out of it.

Only online will you find childish **** like this. Can you imagine what the public would think if they announced a rematch after Chad got decimated like that. No promoter or TV channel would touch it because it's ridiculous. But bitter internet guys will ride this idea to the grave.

The fight was for the 168 title so it was at 168. thought people hated catchweights. Dawson and his team get paid more than us to make those decisions, so they can deal with the consequences.

Ward still schools Dawson @ 175 skills pay the bills and Ward is too skillful for Dawson.

Why is everyone saying he was weight drained, he made the weight just fine, with no complaints, and still has yet to complain about. Get over it people Ward beat his ass and he will do it at 175 too.

I am getting real tired of these clearly biased polls too. Just ask us yes or no there is no need to spin the answers to favor your agenda Freedom.

Exactly and Scully said the fight between Ward and Dawson were already in negotiations before the second Hopkins fight.

Dawson should fight Ward probably in 2014. Dawson needs to fix a lot of things first, he needs to use his height and reach better, he needs to fight tall. He needs to fix his footwork, he needs to fight disciplined, then he can possibly beat Ward.

Dawson's problem is that he changes trainers too much, he didn't stick with a trainer too long that the trainer couldn't fix his mistakes and his bad habits. Chad would be a complete boxer right had he stayed with either Steward or Floyd Sr.

When Dawson fought at his distance he was competitive against Ward. The problem is Scully is not making Chad fight tall. He's not making use of Dawson's height and reach. Chad is fighting flat-footed, he's trying to make Chad an inside boxer, you saw that against Hopkins. Chad is not an inside boxer, he only needs to fight in the inside when necessary. It was very ****** for Chad to hire Scully in the first place, he should have stuck with Steward. No offense to Scully but how many boxers has Scully trained in the last five years at the championship level? Zero as far as I can tell. What's worse is that he hasn't trained Dawson in seven years. You get a downgrade in a trainer, you get a downgrade in performance.

Had Chad stuck with Steward he would be fighting much better. The only thing now is for Scully to learn from his mistakes and try to fix Chad's mistakes. Because Chad firing Scully and getting a replacement, will just bring him back to square one.

Even if Dawson used his height Ward would have broken him down and still dominated the fight. They are just on different levels as fighters, no need to see a rematch in the near future.
