Vanes is going to shock the world, not cuz he's going to win because that wouldn't be shocking at all, but because of the way he's going to win. He will outclass Lara, he will embarass and dominate Lara every round. Lara is a one trick pony, how hard can it be to avoid a straight left that doesn't even carry any power (Hernandez, Williams, Molina, caught them flush but never even buckled them). How can an average left hand outclass an Olympian with Vanes" skill, footwork, and speed? Vanes is a technician with popping power and I can't wait until he man handles Lara. Can see him moving to the left and popping Lara all night long with punches he can't see coming (Lara has never seen speed anywhere near Vanes in any of his fights). There's so much wrong with this post. So you're comparing Hernandez's, Williams' and Molina's chin to Vanes' who is down every other fight? How hard can it be to avoid a straight left? You ask your boy Vanes, Ouma tagged him all night with it. The fact is that Vanes gets hit with every punch in the book and then some. The dude stops punches with his face and is not very good at it cause like I said, he's down every other fight. Watch how Ouma and Roman counter Vanes then times that times 10.

If Lara takes a legitimate L what does that do for Vanes and Erislandy afterwards???

More like, what does beating Vanes do for Lara? The dude is a complete bum and has not once been on any major network that I know of at least. And in 32 fights he has fought who?

About the Hernandez fight, a day or 2 before the fight there was an interview with Lara or Shields talking about how they needed to get some rounds in. Im not saying Lara can KO Hernandez or not but in 19 fights the dude has only gone the distance a handful of times. If you wanna compete at the higher levels you need to taste the deep waters and learn how to get out of them. The only thing that beats Lara in this fight is overconfidence. I doubt they will underestimate Vanes as this is a very important fight for them but if they do that will be the biggest mistake they make.

And Im still taking bets for this fight. Im looking to put 1B down on Lara.

I wasn't approaching you with the bet. I was just letting people know. If Lara was to lose to Vanes then it would be well deserved (the bad look). If he was to lose to Vanes then he was never meant to be at the top. Won't happen tho, we work too damn hard to get here.

the winner is supposed to fight Canelo which i don't see happening. Vanes and Lara are better than Canelo IMO they just lack the fan base.

I doubt either will ever be in the same arena as Canelo because the WBC won't let that happen. too much money to be made off the kid

I think this is gonna be a very tough and competitive fight. Vanes bossed Chavez jr around in sparring and Lara clearly beat a prime Williams. Vanes gets hit a lot though and has little experience with big fights so Im giving the edge to Lara.

Why because you say so? williams won a close decision and loss the second one by KO, he was young (still is) and he rebound against Ishida, just because the guy loss by KO it doesn't mean he is done, so Armstrong should had retired after his first fight or Duran after Herans kick the crap out of him?

I know for sure you don't beleive what you are saying, cheato was a slow pressure fighter with plaster on his wrap, once they took away the cheating part he became what he always was, a limited fighter with a good chin, Cotto gave him a beating and cheatos punches were not having the same effect than in the first fight, we all know why...

Didn't say he was done. Said he was not prime. You don't take an earth shattering shot like that and immediately come back stronger. Ask RJJ after Tarver, or Hatton after Floyd (or Pacquiao for that matter). Prime Williams had never taken a shot like that and fought accordingly.
