No. You are a fan boy. You believe that type of hype. That fight wont sell. Specially after Manny outclassed Bradley. No one wants to see Bradley in a PPV fight.

He dont promote his fights. Stop that non sense. His company dont even have license to promote or the financial capabilities of a TR or GBP to do that type of business. He dont take that much money home. It is easy mathematics. From the $94M of PPV revenues half of the money goes to HBO and the providers. The fee he pays to GBP, and other expenses related to the fight, he dont make that ridiculous amount of money that he claims. But fan boys believe that.

That's why I think he will be forced to negotiate the Paq fight because the alternatives are not that promising, high risk, low return.

Floyd is supposed to announce his next fight before even considering the Paq fight. He can't just sit on his ass that long and wait till Paq recuperates from his December fight.
On what basis do you consider canelo a bigger threat, his age? GTFOH with that..the kid has literally fought nobody..and I mean nobody..Martinez has no issues making 154, he would've even come down to 150 at one point for both floyd and pacquiao..let's stop making excuses..floyd had a ton of weight advantage on marquez didn't stop him from fighting tho..doesn't matter what pacquaio weighs either..he'd fight him at whatever weight floyd wants..I hate when folks dance like this..it pisses me off. It's one thing to like a boxer its a whole other game to sit here making excuses for him..Floyd doesn't want a challenge..he wants to put on an exhibition against guys that don't pose a threat..canelo hasn't shown me jack shhh that shows he's worthy of jumping over a ton of other names who actually bother to fight the top ten in their divisions..i'd much rather see a cotto rematch than canelo..that fight to me is bullshh and much like Chavez got his belt and ranking based on a bunch of tin cans..

Man, I'm not even a Floyd fan and this guy thinks I'm protecting Floyd from possible humiliation in the ring against Martinez. This is Floyd we're talking about, dood. The same Floyd who doesn't even have balls to fight a small, overrated Paq for possible $100 million plus. The same unskilled Paq who has slowed down significantly. And this guy expects Floyd to fight Martinez! GTFOH.

I don't even have any objection if he decides to fight Sergio. But would he?

Realistically, all we can hope for is Canelo for Floyd's next fight. After all, Floyd fought a one-dimensional, come-forward Ortiz, didn't he? Floyd was also preparing to fight Khan, and you know what happened to him.

Question really, I mean really, business-wise, risk-wise, is who is there for Floyd, assuming he won't take on Sergio? Ironically, Sergio and Canelo's last respective fights happened at the same time.

            I'm doubly pissed.

I was tough on the kid Canelo. But hell, the kid is ready. He poses a huge threat for Mayweather with his punching power. The only knock I hear against the kid is his chin isn't tested. I'd love to see him fight Floyd.

Also, Martinez and Mayweather would make a great fight. Martinez aint knocking Mayweather out. And he aint outboxing him. It would make a good fight though. If he could land a few good shots on Floyd. Other than that Floyd is faster and hard to hit. Bad combo for Martinez.

I see Mayweather take criticism worse than Roy Jones faced in his prime. He was knocking everybody out and making them look bad. Champions. And everyone would say, even me " he hasnt fought anyone. Looking at his comp, he destroyed all the comp.

Mayweather pretty much just dominated who ever you put in front of him. Everyone changes their tone after Mayweather whips someone's ass. You dont hear how shot a boxer is and how old he is before the fight. What you hear is how Mayweather will get caught with a shot and finally lose.

Of course after Mayweather kicks some ass the excuses roll in. " He's old, he's young, he wasnt ready ". I think Floyd is willing to fight the best out there. But there just isn't much comp on his level. Go Canelo vs Mayweather. Make it happen.

What a joke (and I'm a Canelo fan).

Martinez would take him to the ropes and beat him senseless.

Floyd will probably fight Berto or someone.

                    • Same old story. These interviewers are never going to ask the right, practical questions. Now we just have to assume Floyd is on a long vacation again and fans are just going to wait till after Pacquiao's and Bradley's respective fights are over.
