Sounds good but you don't know what you're talking about

    *buzzer sounds* WRONG!

That's a cop-out & you know it. He had the home field advantage in the Super Six & benefits from it now. You have to be able to go out & win on the road. Ward is definitely in the mix, but when was the last time he had to go to hostile grounds to fight & win? *crickets* - Yeah, I knew you would say that....

    +1......

Have you played any sports whatsoever?

You sound good but you make absolutely no good points. P4P ranking has nothing to do with the location that a fighter has his fights. It has to do with the way a fighter performs in the ring and the quality of opponents that he has defeated and how many weight classes he has competed in. In boxing home field advantage only plays a role when it comes to how a fight is refereed and how a fight is scored. Ward has been dominant in all of his fights so there hasnt been any room for the ref or the judges to interfere with the outcome. If anything bringing up the location of his fights when it comes Ward is a cop out and a way to nitpick and find flaws in his career that don't really exist. And since the person who first posed the question seems to only be willing to acknowledge a direct answer to his question I will say no there has never been a fighter who is considered P4P best that has only fought at home. And even though I know this person will edit out everything else that I said in this post when he replies other than the answer to his question I will still pose my own question. Has there ever been a fighter at all, including Andre Ward, that only fought in his hometown? This isn't football, basketball or soccer. This is boxing. So whether someone has ever played sports when we are talking about boxing shows that you don't know what you're talking about. You don't play boxing. You fight.

I guess kinda like ***** huh? So that must mean that his black side is the one that's whooping asses in the boxing ring. Its good that he only picked up the good parts of his white side though, otherwise the enslavement, lynching, ****, murder and genocide of his black side would have ensued. Prejudice = Idiot.

Andre Ward is already a great fighter. If he can keep finding little things here and there that he can improve on after every fight then the sky is the limit.

No, that's what YOU'RE saying. A fighter can fight so much in one place that he forgets how to win elsewhere. I think Bute gets smashed by Froch again, but I will bring it up again - Ward wanted no parts of Bute in Canada........

Does that answer your question, slap nuts?

Ward wanted Bute to actually earn a shot, why should the winner of the S6 go to the home town of a guy who's best win was over Johnson? Ward wanted Bute to earn a shot by beating a top fighter, Bute fought a top fighter and got destroyed.

Exactly. Bute wanted Andre to go through all of the wear and tear of the Super Six and then fight him in Canada.

Yeah right. Get the **** out of here with that.

pacquiao's a little **** for demanding catchweight's, but this dude took it to a whole new level with dawson
