Sounds good but you don't know what you're talking about
You sound good but you make absolutely no good points. P4P ranking has nothing to do with the location that a fighter has his fights. It has to do with the way a fighter performs in the ring and the quality of opponents that he has defeated and how many weight classes he has competed in. In boxing home field advantage only plays a role when it comes to how a fight is refereed and how a fight is scored. Ward has been dominant in all of his fights so there hasnt been any room for the ref or the judges to interfere with the outcome. If anything bringing up the location of his fights when it comes Ward is a cop out and a way to nitpick and find flaws in his career that don't really exist. And since the person who first posed the question seems to only be willing to acknowledge a direct answer to his question I will say no there has never been a fighter who is considered P4P best that has only fought at home. And even though I know this person will edit out everything else that I said in this post when he replies other than the answer to his question I will still pose my own question. Has there ever been a fighter at all, including Andre Ward, that only fought in his hometown? This isn't football, basketball or soccer. This is boxing. So whether someone has ever played sports when we are talking about boxing shows that you don't know what you're talking about. You don't play boxing. You fight.
