In a rematch Jr would be very aggressive since the opening bell and he would miss a lot of punches and run out of gas followed by getting KO'd. Martinez doesn't have to prove anything against Jr.

Listen foos, Chávez would have koed Martínez if he would have trained properly instead of partying and smoking pot. Look at the last five seconds of the fight, Martínez was unable to stand. If there was a minute left or another round, bye Martínez.

                  Hey fellas.

First, much like the Paul Williams second fight, Maravilla will come more focused and determined for the rematch and dominate JCC if not KO'ing him as Jr. will probably fight like it's 12th round again, throwing bombs and making him more open and susceptible to Maravilla's left. I honestly think Chavez Jr. has gotten WAY too much publicity for his 40 second rally when he was beaten to the pulp for 11 2/3 rounds.

Anyways, before they can sign the rematch papers we'll have to await the commission's slap in the wrist before we know when they can fight. Also, Sergio's knee might need arthroscopic surgery and that might delay the inevitable announcement. I do say "inevitable", because Sergio's looking for his biggest paycheck, unless Floyd or Cotto come knocking.

If I was Chavez Jr.'s adviser, I would recommend to fight another fighter in the top 10 rankings, like Gael, Sturm, or Pirog, before committing to the rematch. I'm afraid another consecutive loss to Maravilla will ruin his silver-spoon-fed career to the point of boxing irrelevancy.

Easy win for Chavez. Took him one round of fighting to almost knock out Martinez ha ha. Martinez your old !!! retire before the rematch so you wont get exposed.
