Yeah, 9% is a lot. Plus you pay 10% to trainer and then taxes are a *****.
Yep, Boondocks is f'n hilarious.
10% to the trainer, then 30% to the promoter. Then 30% is withheld by the promoter for tax purposes, which is bull****. Fighters shouldn't ever agree to that. That's how boxers get in trouble with their income taxes. They're lied to and told their taxes have been paid for when they haven't been.
And often they'll with hold miscellaneous fees for bull****, like taking care of the entourage and ****** ****, or drug testing, which sometimes they'll charge like $2000-10,000 for something that costs a maximum of $400, and that is if you have the results overnighted and the most expensive possible rates.
You should see how badly they ****d Yory Boy Campus. Its on RingTalk on Pedro Fernandez's series of articles entitled Operation Yory Boy. Turned out Yory Boy's manager and Arum were both ****ing Yory Boy over. They were putting money to some fake company called Star Trucking as a front for Yory's own manager. Yory got about 20,000 for a fight he was supposed to get 300 k for I think.
fck the worthless belts. i'm glad they arent having to pay the sanctioning fees . that will teach there corrupt sorry ass.all these worthless belts. it would be a different story if there was only one true belt to fight for.
Those ****i'n belt doesn't mean ****. It's worth nothing. It's the man that makes the belt not the belt that makes the man so forget about those belt and just be happy the fight will happen.
when your watching a fight do you even think about the titles? i know i dont, i just watch the action in the ring & there will be ALOT of great action in the ring when this fight happens, so i dont really think it affects the fight at all! i still cant wait!
