Povetkin is a bad joke. People love to slag the ass off haye, but at least haye had the balls to get in the ring with wlad and take his beating, Povetkin is scared ****less of the real champ

Povetkin actually makes Haye look semi respectable, and that's just depressing.

povetkin will fight him & he was pulled out twice because of 2 legit reasons. he is not scared at all. the first was an injury & the second was because his trainer(atlas who was right)said he wasn't ready. atlas gave up $250000 because he actually cared about his fighters well-being. povetkin was beaten by huck in most of our opinions. european promoters have always milked every ounce of money they can from a fighter with a title. they fight has been names & fighters who are not real threats to their fighters title. sauerland has a history of this. look at the defences made by valuev. look at guys like lebedev & other european fighters. the proof is there. sauerland has milked this "phoney regular"title as much as he can. the regular champion(mandatory)has 20 months to fight for the real champion or he loses his regular title(otherwise mandatory slot). early 2013 will be 20 months & it's povetkin not wladimir who has to make the fight happen in early 2013. wladimir is in the drivers seat not povetkin. povetkin has now gotten 3 nice 7 digit paydays fighting boswell, huck & rahman. he can now take his beating & cash out vs wladimir if he chooses too. this fight will happen & all you who say he is afraid are wrong & really don't understand the business side of boxing. european promoters have been doing this for decades. milking every bit of money they possibly can out of a title.

the second no show was a joke and just sad. He wasnt ready then and he isnt ready now... the ONLY reason, and I mean ONLY reason Povetkin is talking about the wlad fight is because HE HAS TO FIGHT WLAD PER THE WBA RULES!!

had the WBA not forced this, povetkin and his team would be looking for another 40+ year old, past prime fighter to get in the ring with...
