Khan's confidence is mostly show and little substance

You can tell who really believes in themselves when they fight. Ward, Marquez, Martinez and prime Pacquiao are good examples of fighters with real confidence.

he thought he was a bad ass n he could win easy since Tim Bradley made Peterson look very easy, n he needed this prove himself he was world class boxing skills, i thought he was gona be smarter but no he seems to rush into fights idk why, i use to think he would change a bit more since he was goin into tougher opposition n he could beat somebody like moneymay but after the Peterson lost i dont think he can be world class level, but he has been on top, he has the experience n a new trainer lets see how he looks but against Molina i dont think he can get much credit, ive seen molina once n he didnt impress me at all im hoping Molina pulls the upset

I thought Peterson was his mandatory, and that it also went to purse split bid. GBP wasn't completely in the drivers seat on that fight, and Hunter wouldn't back down... AND THEN rather then dragging it out, Khan's ego said 'ok, whatever'.

The terms Amir Khan and American star should never be used in the same sentence.

Had nothing to do with Amir. Golden Boy had Khan fight Paulie in NYC as well as Peterson in DC. Part of their plan to build Khan into the next boxing superstar in America.

Sadly GBP overestimated Amir Khan. He can still come back but has a ways to go.

I see, I still think he won that fight. There was definitely some home cooking going on.

So why the hell did he decide to go to Washington to fight Lamont Peterson? I'm sure they could have got the fight somewhere else. Is there a reason he decided to fight in Petersons backyard?
Peterson was from the area, easy to promote a fight with him..Khan is not a draw like that in the states...It made sense to have the fight in DC..
