he lost fair and square to toney.
you could make an arguement to say he beat mesi.
he was KOd by moorer, its kinda hard to argue that he wasnt when jirov couldnt even walk straight towards the ref.
if he couldnt beat a product like mesi, a has been like moorer, or a never was orlin norris, then that ought to give you a clue that maybe jirov just cant cut the mustard at HW.
The fight with Toney was a draw.
He beat Mesi.
He would have comfortably beat Moorer, had the fight continued, despite premature stoppage.

Go Jirov. Do not give up man.
i watched that entire toney/jirov fight. from the beginning opening introductions to toney's postfight interview, i saw that whole fight and was rooting for jirov the whole way (even though i knew he lost the fight). and the scores were 117-109 twice and 116-110, not even close. jirov put up a hell of a fight, but he in no way showed that he won that fight.
the fight with mesi was close, but jirov lost and jirov didnt complain or say he was robbed. just another case of "if ur fighter offers no excuses, neither should you".
coulda woulda shoulda, but didnt. jirov didnt beat moorer and thats that. premature stoppage? did you see how wobbly jirov was walking and how he didnt respond to the ref? jirov was used up at the time of that fight and the ref knew it.
i still like jirov, but theres a time to be optimistic and realistic. and realistically speaking, jirov is DONE.
Jirov should call Vitology out of retirement and challenge him.
I'd enjoy watching Vitology beat him up.
Check out my sig.
I give Jirov credit for his heart and his relentless aggression, but every punch Toney was landing in that fight was breaking him down.

You think so?
Personally, I think Toney will drop Jirov alot earlier this time and will actually finish the job.
I mean Jirov has been through alot of tough fights and has taken alot of punishment already. In the heavyweight division you can't take punishment like that and last long.
