This is lame, at least Katsidis would've been exciting. Senchenko is the definition of a Eurobum - and this is from a European!

After he got those 3 straight against an old Jesus Chavez, and then a tough win over Escobedo and his biggest win over Mitchell, I thought he was gonna be a top guy for a while, Then Marquez just ruined the guy I think. After the Marquez fight and brother's death, he hasn't been the same. I'll still root for him though, and hope he can come back.

Im a big Katsidis fan, but his territory has always been 135 and now with Broner and Burns at 135 he would get no where so i think he is taking chances elsewhere. Only a deluded fan would think he belongs at 147 when he has yet to win a credible fight a 140, and offically was never a legit world champion at his prime 135lb weight.

As much as I enjoy Katsidis, its just not the same Katsidis without his Aussie trainer yelling in the background...

Even though Kats lost his last fight the tempo and workrate he puts out would've been difficult for a old Hatton to deal with so Senchenko is a better option much more managable pace

Senchenko is a full blow welterweight, yes. He also lost every round while getting his face sliced up by Paul Malignaggi, who was fighting at 147 for maybe the 3rd time in his career, and had beforehand been one of the weakest punchers in the history of the sport at 140 lbs.

i love it when they say hatton was matched hard LOL the only fight he had that was hard before he made it to mayweather and pac, was kosta!!

no disrespect for collazo or old arse castillo but those two were no judah, mosley, cotto!!!

hatton never knew who cotto was during his career, that was a sure fire duck!!

really does irk me when people say he was matched tough, before he fought mayweather and pac he had a very easy opponents apart from the kosta fight

look at who he fought and who cotto fought!!! there is no comparsim!! hatton only got to fight mayweather and pac because of a carefully matched career and the fact he sold alot of tickets!!!

Action-wise, probably not. Senchenko though, was a Top 10 WW up until he lost to Malignaggi, he can give a more accurate gauge of where Hatton is than a WW Kats could.

That isn't a bad comeback fight at all, I don't know why anyone would trip over it. Hatton could fight an absolute scrub for this first comeback fight and it would be completely fine, Senchenko while not a big puncher is at least a legit fringe contender.
