Take a lot out of him cause of 1 KD? Maybe the knee injury, depending on how serious it is but he got a good ass doctor. So we will see.

Sergio did good numbers on ppv, that's a huge plus. Also he's willing to drop to 154

And I doubt Cotto would object to a 157 catch-weight for the MW title.

well you are correct on that one, but why Trout then?? cuz he is holding a strap? i guess there really isnt any other bigger fish to fry than Trout... outside of manny, floyd and canelo... there really isnt any other bigger prize fights out there for cotto... everyone else in the 154 division is busy trying to jockey for position and they all bring about the same $$$... if cotto could make 147 he could make some decent money fights that would prolly be PPV

I dont see a problem with this matchup. It will definitely produce some fireworks! As for the weight disparity? Martinez is far from a big MW. Canelo would be bigger on fight night vs Cotto than Martinez would be. Plus Martinez is pretty marketable right now.

that was a pretty brutal round... he broke his hand, has a jacked up knee and heard he need a bunch of stitches to fix up the million dollar face

plus that wasnt just a flash KD, martinez was about 1 more bomb away from going to sleep, thats what made the round so amazing

Cotto you're a real fighter, forget about Martinez, ignore him. Greater fighters than you are afraid of Martinez. Worry about Trout, he is a handful.
