this should be a good fight, I think both guys are very hungry right now, there is always a chance of Rahman landing that big shot, but if Toney can avoid it he can really discourage Rahman if he gets him to play his inside game, I cannot call it at the point...

listen all u idiots. first all of all fat toney is too fat now to be a decent fighter. hes over 330 pounds atm and if ur that fat u cant be agile, YES i admit he used to be a good defensive fighter some years ago when his weight was in controll but these days hes too fat and he will be an easy target for hasim rahman. i predict early brutall ko win for hasim rock rahman.

All the Toney haters keep waiting around for Toney to lose because he's smaller than most heavyweights.
They need to realize, being a big puncher isn't going to make much of a difference with Toney. Has anyone seen him get hit with more than one clean shot at a time ? I haven't...& when he does get tagged, he takes it well.
He is as comfortable in the ring as any fighter I've ever seen, & this enables him to not get tired. His "fat" body isn't a factor for that reason.

Right on Jabs, just watching that borefest of a fight against RJJ. I mean Toney didn't really get tagged against Jones, all those "slapshots" by Jones looks good to the camera, but it was really the speed of those flurries JT just could not get off. Toney is the man.

Im a Rahman fan and Im not even gonna lie, Toney will handle him easily. Even at 330 pounds he is still a slick boxer, and has loads of stamina for that size. He smart and has a good chin. I admire Rahman for going after the big fight instead of easier ones like Valuev or maybe Byrd though. He needs that money though so thats probably why.

Actually, there was a commentator that gave a list of two or three names that he thought Toney should avoid at heavyweight - one of them being Rahman.

That was Roy Jones.

If James wins then, he should be given alot of credit.

Who the hell has Rahman beaten recently that Toney should deserve a mountain of praise for beating? If Toney beats Klitschko or Brewster I will be impressed. Beating a name guy like Rahman will be a nice notch on his stressed belt but he needs to take on Brewster and Wlad. Those are the serious heavyweights.
