114-112 Castillo.
Rewatched Mayweather VS Castillo 1, Never seen Floyd look so lost

Jose Luis Castillo has got to be one of the most underrated fighters in the last 20 years. Wins over Johnston, Bazan, Lazcano, Casamayor, Corrales, J. Diaz, and arguably a win over Floyd. Underrated as hell.
With that said, Floyd-JLC I could have gone either way. Floyd handily beat him in the rematch though.Comment

Firstly Floyd is a great fighter.
Secondly why people talk about Pac like I am a fanboy?
Thirdly yeah in a close fight in my opinion, rounds are given both ways and thus we all will have different opinions.

If I have time, I will do a round by round. Been busy though.

I had it a draw. Floyd beat him decisively in the rematch though, proving that he was a lot better than JLC.Comment

My bad, I read the 114 as 116 and was having a difficult time understanding how you added things up.
Anyway I have the fight anywhere between Mayweather winning 115-111 and a a draw. Castillo did too little in the first half of the fight and Mayweather did just about enough in the second.Comment

floyd is very hard to make discouraged, very mentally strong. the notion that he would get discouraged just bcuz someone keeps walking forward is absurd. in the last rounds is when floyd fought with the most conviction too, standing his ground and fighting castillo on the inside.
he was forced to push and use his forearm bcuz castillo kept holding and hitting and throwing low blows but the ref completely ignored it. that along with the torn rotator cuff is why floyd struggled so much. but he bit down on his mouthpiece and did what he had to do, in the end he won the fight convincingly and in a rematch fought under even circumstances he took castillo to school.Comment
