Native American Boxers

I would guess that a large percentage of boxers from Latin America have at least some Indian ancestry. Orlando Salido is supposedly of Yaqui heritage-- not sure how much though. I believe Victor Rabanales and Wilbert Uicab are Mayan. Henry Armstrong was part Native American.Last edited by Caxcan; 09-28-2012, 12:41 AM.Comment

I believe I was told Jack Dempsey was part American Indian. He was from out in Colorado, so I don't think it is beyond the realm of possibility. He definitely appears in pictures to have some non-European ancestry.Comment
