De la Hoya clearly fears young unbeaten black fighters, I wonder why, hmmm Trinidad, Mosley and Mayweather.

Yea he fears them that he fought them and beat two of them(according to most people). Two were probably cheating....well at least one for a fact.

same thing I have been saying since this fight was announced

I would not be shocked one bit if Cotto struggles battle with Trout, maybe even lose...not sure why people are talking as if Cotto is "UNBEATABLE" this current version of Cotto is far from "UNBEATABLE"

I have a gut feeling Trout is going to shock a lot of people December first...A SOUTHPAW, a TRUE Light Middleweight, has the height and reach and advantage and he is very slick and slippery, I see him landing Combos and being gone before Cotto can answer back

But we shall see, best of luck to BOTH FIGHTERS!

Trout actually reminds me a lot of the late Vernon Forrest to be honest, just an OUTSTANDING HIGHLY SKILLED OVERALL BOXER, sure he may never become a House Hold Name or a HUGE DRAW but still VERY DANGEROUS

Trout can win this, if he keeps Cotto at bay witht he jab, and steps around him. Easier said then done, and Trout can also stink a fight up pretty good too.

Cotto has to rough him up, or he'll lose.

Everyone keeps talking about reach advantage, but is trouts reach better than floyds? I know he lost to floyd but curious how much advantage it's going to be. Size and the fact he's young are his edge, but he's not a great boxer and can be outpointed if cotto plays his cards right and doesn't just brawl forward.

Well you should close that thread....you forget that Cotto's a southpaw fighting in an orthodox stance? Probably never knew that. And when did Cotto ever run? And I'm not a Cotto dude, but he comes to FIGHT. And like others before me, don't speak on dudes you don't know about, makes you look real ****** - oops, too late.......
