With boxing and UFC the fans are usually at the mercy of the promoters because they do not have the option of taking their business elsewhere. You want to watch a boxing event? You have to deal with a crappy undercard because you have no other option.

This year they have been going at more but TR has been putting on better cards this year then years past. I think the new guy at HBO has something to do with it. I like the idea of having Showtime and HBO trying to out due each other. I mean where getting the fights that we want to see now. So what's wrong with having a night full of boxing just this month on sept 15th we had 8 fights in one night. As a fan I got HBO and Showtime just to watch these great fights coming up.
