Will be Gavin Rees most likely if he keeps winning.

Hope he mops the floor with Ji-Hoon Kim, sick of hearing that pretender is something he isn't.

I think Rees deserves it most but Burns would beat him with ease & hasn't Jose got a fight lined up?

Gonzalez fights on the Vazquez card in a couple weeks or so.

Kim is a total mismatch, and Ricky will absolutely destroy him.

Gavin Rees... why the hell not? If that's a mandatory, get it done and lets see a good fight.

Gavin Rees is a decent fighter. But it's not a great fight for Burns.

Burns needs to fight more world level opponents now and consistently.

Rees is with Eddie Hearn on sky sports and Burns is with Frank Warren on boxnation. I would be suprised and shocked if they could get a deal agreed.

Gavin Rees is unlikely unless Hearn lets Rees fight on Boxnation. Theres a big power struggle at present between the two which could hamper the fight being made. Havent seen much of the other two, but needs to be a step up. If broner or demarco are future projects for burns he needs a steep rise in the level of opposition.

I dont know why you guys all assume Rees, since is a mandatory the higher ranked fighter gets first dibs. So if Gonzalez wins on October 6, he gets to negotiate first.

I'm 99.9 sure Warren wil try and low ball him plus trying to make him go to Scotland(understandble since Burns is the champ with decent following).

Anyways, Gonzalez would kick his ass in any place. Not that Gonzalez is great but Burns aint alll that and Gonzalez is a big dude with skills and power.
