I see why you guys call Pac fans delusional -- they even deny Pac made a rapid weight gain. Come on. Pac weighed 129 when he fought JMM in March 2008, then weighted 142 when he fought Oscar in December 2008.

That's 13 pounds of "fighting weight" in less than a year. If that's not rapid, what is?

ill be back to debunk this theory that has been debunked several times.

fighters put on as much as 15lbs from the friday weigh in to saturday night and you have a problem with pac putting on 10 plus lbs in one year?

defeats the purpose when they say, "no one should construe any of our prior remarks as claiming that Manny Pacquiao has used performance enhancing drugs." In other words, they never said anything to apologize for...whatever

edit: well, rereading it, it's an apology in the sense, but I know what you mean.

Here's a breakdown of Pacquiao's weight during fight night:

Pacquiao vs Velasquez (130lbs) - Weight on fight night = 140lbs
Pacquiao vs Erik Morales 2 (130lbs) - Weight on fight night = 140lbs
Pacquiao vs Larios (130lbs) - Weight on fight night = not announced
Pacquiao vs Erik Morales 3 (129lbs) - Weight on fight night = 144lbs
                Pacquiao vs Barrera 2 (130lbs) - Weight on fight night = 144lbs
                Pacquiao vs JMM 2 (129lbs) - Weight on fight night = 145lbs
Pacquiao vs Diaz (134lbs) - Weight on fight night = 147lbs
Pacquiao vs De La Hoya (142lbs) - Weight on fight night = 148lbs
Pacquiao vs Hatton (138lbs) - Weight on fight night = 148lbs
Pacquiao vs Cotto (144lbs) - Weight on fight night = 144lbs
Pacquiao vs Clottey (145lbs) - Weight on fight night = 145lbs
Pacquiao vs Margarito (145lbs) - Weight on fight night = 148lbs

In those 12 fights, his fight night weight in the span of those 12 fights (about 5 years in length) fluctuated by a total of 8 pounds. That fight night weight hasn't changed much since or even before that timeline, but I'm just too lazy to look for the data right now.

I don't see how you think pacquiao can't go from 129lbs to 140 in 4 years... when i train i go from 180lbs to 140lbs in 2 months then in one day i gain 12-15lbs.. the only thing is i'm not an elite fighter... so ya gaining that weight in tip top shape is hard but when you have the money and dedication and not to mention it's your PROFESSION.. it's possible without steroids.. just cuzz you idiots want to desperately find something wrong with Pacquiao you want to believe it so badly that it must be true.

thank you for saving me the trouble. there has been no wide discrepancy or anomaly with pac's fighting weight.

he went up divisions not really in lbs.

                    these idiots just dont learn.
