Sergio Martinez vs ...

Cotto, Canelo get beat badly.
Depending on how Martinez ages with that injury the money fight is one I favour him slightly.
I can see Floyd not looking like Floyd in that fight, looking at what he's up against If Floyd makes Martinez look ****** like some people think he will then I'll eat my hat and for me that will cement his legacy more than a Pacquiao fight now ever could.
But you know Floyd wants nothing to do with Martinez, Martinez' style would actually make Mayweather look bad which would be a first also.
Honestly I hope Martinez stays well away from GGG, that dude is scary powerful and is pretty well rounded after a 8 month lay off I see Martinez legs not be as active and I think it wuld only take one bomb from Golovkin.
Until Golovkin beats better opponents the fight makes no sense anyway.Comment

Martinez is done. Hes 37 and the injuries he sustained in the Chavez fight will keep him on the shelf for at least 9 months. Two torn ligaments in his knee and a broken hand. Even if he makes it back he will never be the same. Martinez' best atribute is his movement. Any top contender at JMW and MW beats him.Comment

Na, Martinez had a reach advantage over Chavez so that tells you that aslong as Martinez uses his feet like always does May isn't going to hit him at will.
I don't think Martinez is going to be troubled by Mayweather punches either. and I'd like to see how Money deals with probabaly the fastest and hardest jab he would have ever been the wrong end of. Plus Martinez uses angles, were not talking about walking down an old Shane Mosley or frustrating Victor Ortiz were talking about aguy who will be the biggest puncher, the fastest fighter only behind Zab Judah he has faced and at the highest weight he would have fought at.
Please remember Mayweather has slowed down in recent fights and his hunger for the sport has somewhat dwindled since the Marquez comeback.Comment

By watching ginger beat up on Lopez, Gomez, Hatton (Matt), Mosley (shot) & Cintron (shot), you've came to that conclusion?? The homey is quite frankly ****ing amazing tbh.Agreed that Chavez has a better resume, but not by much really. Canelo's skills appear to be growing every fight, even if he always has a big advantage (fighting old guys like mosley, or small ones like josesito). But still, he dominates in these fights, even if he gets hit, it doesn't throw him off his game, he stays in control.
I dunno, you are right that we can't conclude much til he faces some elite 154 lbers, but just watching him I think there is no doubt he would have put up a much better fight against Serg than JR didComment

Yeah I can agree to that too but Martinez hasn't fought a fighter like Mayweather.. Even though he is on the decline none of Martinez past fights would have the skill level, ring generalship and I.Q that can match Mayweathers..Na, Martinez had a reach advantage over Chavez so that tells you that aslong as Martinez uses his feet like always does May isn't going to hit him at will.

I think that both these fighters would have there way with each other depends who catches who firstComment
