Any examples of getting hit hard on the neck?

Call me crazy, but I'm still half skeptical that Khan really is that horribly chinny. Garcia hit him right on the neck. I've never seen a punch land that hard on the neck on anyone. I rarely even see any neck punches at all. I have no idea how a neck punch is supposed to affect someone physically. Maybe it has a weird effect like how getting punch on the ear gets you out of equilibrium. Just lightly punching myself, it feels like a punch on the neck would be a ton more painful than a punch to the face.

Are there any other examples of someone getting hit on the neck hard and getting dropped or wobbled? Or just getting hit hard on the neck with nothing happening? There has to be a precedent.

that's basically where khan was hit.

a shot to his neck would be absorbed differently, and wouldn't rock his head around enough to damage him like that.

Seriously if you are really looking for an instance where are fighter hit another fighter on the neck, look at Azumah Nelson-Genaro Hernandez. But if you are just covering for Khan? I can't help you.

Add to that he was even floored in the amateurs with pillows and head guards
He's got a shaky set of whiskers. He was all over the place in recent fights against Maidana, Peterson and Garcia and unless he turns into Wlad, it's gonna happen again
