I have read the talk about the 12th and blah blah... and clearly Martinez got off of his game plan of boxing to trade with Chavez. But I just watched the fight again and the Chavez got throughly beaten. Besides some low body shots and straght right hands that Sergio rolled with - he did nothing. Its unfortunate that Sergio felt he needed to trade... Whats funnier is Freddy talking to him after the 9th and Chavez dismissing him like a school child. Classic! Chavez had no answer for the shoulder and head placement of Sergio not to metion the movement. - the 11th and the 12th round is a true testament of who really wanted to win - Sergio.
He goes toe to toe after being hurt and fights the rest of the round! thats a champion....

Yep! Over 1:20 left in fight and no holding, running, or clinching of any kind and Chavez couldnt end it and is the one who held instead of continuing to punch. In no way did that merit a rematch. Jr embarrassed.

Why is it okay for him to smoke cigs and drink beers before a fight but he can't smoke weed? Its a known fact that Cigs and alcohol are far worse for you than herb is. Your a tool who does what hes told because youre afraid to think for yourself.

Because alcohol & tobacco are NOT ILLEGAL....if you can do a better lobbying job than Altria & the liquor industry in getting weed legalized, then go for it. If not, just go quietly into the night.......

i knew something wuz up with jr. he duzn't fight like that. when he had martinez @ close quarters he wouldn't even swing. wtf! the drop in the 12th wuz nice & it showed that he could've put em away earlier if he wanted 2. i like the guy & that kinda **** shouldn't b tolerated but maybe now he'll take it more seriously. can u imagine if mayweather would've pulled some **** like that? a slap on the wrist, a fine maybe, & dont do it again.
