            To compare similar events....

            Mayweather vs Judah, at the same arena, sold 400K PPV buys. That was over six years ago. Without the benefit of episodes of 24/7, or a holiday weekend. Or all the promotional support (Tecate rebates, etc).

            Floyd-Zab had 15,000 attendance, while Chavez-Sergio sold 17,000.

                    yea but there was another card on, at the same day/time

                    if that hadnt been set up like that you can guarantee the ppv buys would have been over 500k , but damn didnt know my boy floyd been doing numbers like that even back then

                      This is what happens when it's an intriguing match up. Best middleweight in the world against a really big name aka Chavez Jr.

                      Not amazing numbers but that's a good amount. People insinuating this was all Chavez's doing are delusional. If it would have been Chavez against no name opponent on PPV you would have seen ridiculously small numbers.
