Solid buys. Had the Showtime card not been going on, it would've had alot more ppv buys. Canelo took away some viewers who wouldve paid to see the card. Just hope these head to head cards don't happen again.

Well Chavez Jr is a certified PPV star. I was saying it'd be great if it did 300K. 475K on your first PPV, that's damn good.

It would have been around 600K had Canelo not been on Showtime that night.

Good for the sport, HBO needs to realize that they need to ditch their usual PPV "stars" who 99% of the time end up in boring clinch fest snoozers and focus on ****ers. infact I would stop doing business with Al as 90% of his fighters are clinch first/run second type of fighters with no fanbase who the general public doesnt care for... this proves we want to see warriors and ****ers as the main event....... If canelo wasnt on I would put another 200k PPV buy's as Canelo was/is Mexico's golden Boxer, Jr was just a name, Canelo is/was far more popular in Mehico

Wont be buying it. I supported Sergio in the first match and won't be supporting a druggie in a rematch. Plus I don't agree with a rematch anyway.
