Ricky should do a bum of the month run at the MEN - dude is a Rock Star. He could fight his milkman, his barber, his driver, and the pizza delivery boy and sell 18,000 tickets each time.
you forgot about his drug dealer.

Wow, thats a seriously low number. Matthysse vs Olusegun was a legit fight aswell.
I'd jump at the chance to watch Matthysse fight live if he ever fought over here..very exciting fighter.

The proof that you don't have to be a good fighter to sell a lot a tickets, if you are a star it will sell

            Boxing attendances really are sad.

That's the sort of attendance that would be expected at the SEVENTH level of English soccer. At least 160 English soccer clubs would expect to attract more than that to each game, each week.

Wrong fight in the wrong venue. And it wouldn't be fair for Matthysse and Ajose if it was canceled.

I don't expect 2 B level foreigners to sell, but damn, this was an embarrassment.

I wonder how it would have done if Alexander vs. Bailey didn't get pushed back? I doubt that fight would have done big numbers to begin with. Probably why they moved it to the Brooklyn card.

Surely Matthysse would do better numbers in Argentina? 377 is terrible for a boxer of his calibre. Perhaps if he hadn't been robbed against Judah and Alexander he would have more appeal in the US. Bent judges cost fighters money.

Hatton's a 4-time world champ, he didn't magically get that following.
