I was impressed by Alvarez' offense. His punches are quick, crisp and power-laden. He's an awesome combination puncher; he mixes a good variety of body and head punching. Alvarez can also take a punch and uses the parry method to avoid a lot punches.

Oh absolutely, I love the way he throws his combos, so fluid and crisp.

          Mean body puncher too.

Canelo gets a bad rap with his oponent in Lopez. I agree, it was like watching Mayweather vs JMM but it wasn't his choice of opponent.

He was set to fight P Will, that fell through for obvious reasons. Then he was set to fight Kirkland and he backed out due to "injury".

Then he was set to fight Ortiz, and Lopez messed those plans up.

Canelo is the fighter, not the promoter or the manager, he doesn't decide who to fight he just fights. He was ready and willing to step up but things fell through.

I want to see him vs Cotto, that would be a great fight.

I dont know why the trend has been for everyone to act like this kid has no talent. All that ginger shyt is clouding these fools judgement. Alvarez is still green but hes a damn fine fighter.

Dude got the tools and with his young age he will end up with an old school record when it is all said and done...imagine his resume by the time he is 35

Canelo's an extremely talented fighter. That's why I want to see him fight guys like Lara, Molina, Trout, Kirkland and Cotto so that they can make him step his game up and bring the best out of him. You develop bad habits when you fight guys that aren't in your league.

I think his speed is easy to ignore because his style doesn't utilize much athleticism. His speed is quiet, not readily apparent until he lets a combination go and leaves the opponent like, "Dayum" lol.

Does Floyd pay you guys for this? Im just curious. Maybe I'll find a boxer who will hire me to do these type of things.

What in the hell does Floyd have to do with me saying Canelo has good hand and foot speed??
Oops I guess my whole post went over your head. Carry on.
