For the first time in a long time I agree with Sr. Floyd can make 140 but I think his best weight is about 142-144 cause Floyd is a small welter-wt. Floyd CAN beat everybody @ 154 but that's really out of his range. The only way a PBF/Martinez fight should happen is if Floyd challenges him. Martinez doesn't even wanna come down to 54 to face Cotto (who I feel would be too small for him). Alvarez is a big jr.middle-wt so I can see that fight @ 56-57. The real fight for Martinez is Ward @ 164/165 cause if Martinez is weighing 176 30 days before fight time then he should be fighting Ward.

You're delusional, but who didn't already know that when talking to a guy pretending to be a boxing reporter on an online forum?
I'm not here to do your homework.

I think Sergio was even calling Floyd out before Floyd fought Coto at 154, Floyd said he would fight Sergio at a catchweight of like 150 or something if the fight presented itself.

If Dan Rafael mentions Floyd was sick, you'd argue against that too, and on and on and on.

Mayweather weighed in at 152, and then fights Cotto at 147 the next day, LOSING 5 pounds overnight, to get ready for the fight?
Totally believable, not to mention no source is posted (but hey, it's coming from me, so it's gotta be true).
Do your homework.

"Personally, when people talk about (Sergio) Martinez fighting him (Floyd Mayweather, Jr.)... I'm not saying my son can't whup him, because I've seen my son box big cruiserweights before in the gym, but when you got to put smaller gloves and stuff, you know, I don't think it's a good idea," Floyd, Sr. told me in Las Vegas when I asked him about the subject.
"He's (Floyd Jr.) still fighting outside his weight class by fighting at 47 (welterweight), because really, Floyd can make 140. So really, to be honest, he shouldn't fight anybody much bigger than that. He doesn't need to fight jr. middleweights," the former boxer added.
Thats for the posters who will post without trying to read the article.
