Sergio would smash Mayweather at 154 too. The guy is an athletic monster and trains insanely hard. He could def make the weight healthy, this isn't Chad Dawson, this is Sergio Martinez.

Floyd will NOT have any part of Sergio, even at 154, I can guarantee you that. He would be smart not to, just like Sr. said.

Martinez doesn't even wanna come down to 54 to face Cotto (who I feel would be too small for him). Alvarez is a big jr.middle-wt so I can see that fight @ 56-57. The real fight for Martinez is Ward @ 164/165 cause if Martinez is weighing 176 30 days before fight time then he should be fighting Ward.
      What nonsense.

He wouldn't weigh in at 144 for Marquez, he's never weighed near 144 at welterweight, but that's his best weight.

Martinez stated that he would meet Cotto at a catchweight if they were to ever fight.

BTW, Floyd being 145-147 on fight night during the Cotto fight is hearsay. Nothing more, nothing less. Refute my information with sources.

              THIS IS ALL I FOUND

Will you watch the Miguel Cotto-Antonio Margarito rematch as a fan or as a scout for a new opponent?
I could be fighting either one of them, but I hope Margarito wins. I will say it again: I hope Margarito wins, because I know he wouldn't have any problem fighting me, which is something Cotto won't do. Cotto doesn't want to face me. He will make excuses about the money, or about this or that day not being good for him, or about not liking the color of my socks -- anything -- I don't know. Lately he has been saying that the money is too short. I have to tell Cotto that if all he cares about is money, then I promise to hand over my purse to him if he wins, no problem. I can sign on that, anytime and anyplace. But I know Cotto is afraid of fighting me, no matter what he says. It's all excuses. If he is the champion he used to be, or the champ he believes he is, he wouldn't have any problem facing me. But obviously now any excuse is good for him.

WBC middleweight champion Sergio Martinez is not too sure of a fight rematch with Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. in Dallas, Texas. On Saturday in Las Vegas, Martinez do

Martinez has some issues with the location, because he believes Chavez takes advantage of the governing rules of the local commission. Martinez would prefer to face junior middleweight Miguel Cotto at a catch-weight.

"Bob Arum suggested a rematch with Julio, in Dallas, in the American football stadium of the Cowboys, with 60,000 people and pay-per-view. But [I'm not sure about that]. There, Chávez does whatever he wants when it comes to the rules....regarding the doping [tests] and things like that - they are less rigorous [in Texas]....let's put it that way. They are less demanding than [the commission] in Nevada. My personal preference, I would like to fight with Miguel Cotto of Puerto Rico. It would be a good fight if we reach an agreement on the weight limit," Martinez said.

too much talk about a fight that is not happening...even at 154 that fight is not happening. at this point in floyd's career, he's not gonna risk losing that "0". he takes pride about being undefeated, do you really think he would risk losing that late in his career?

Would prefer? That's all you got?

The way you typed it made it sound like it's a deal or no deal type of thing, CW or no fight. You were wrong.

Totally believable, not to mention no source is posted (but hey, it's coming from me, so it's gotta be true).

                      Do your homework.
Mayweather came in at 151 lbs, not 152. If you want a source, do the homework yourself. Sources are out there.
