Im not sure many people think he loses to Martinez at 154. At 160 is another story but at JMW thats not a fight where has a good chance to lose because of the question marks about Martinez hitting that weight.
yeah there will always be another guy to side step

          1. Floyds last fight was at 154, a weight he said himself he comfortably made and as we all know, a weight he looked really good at. Maintained his speed, carried his power well, etc.
          2. Martinez HIMSELF has said for many years hes a NATURAL Jr. Middleweight and is more than willing to make that weight for a Mayweather fight. Hes never made the full Middleweight limit, and never has rehydrated more than 10 lbs.

So can Mayweather-Martinez happen @ 154? Yes, based on what BOTH fighters have said in regards to that weight. Bottom line.
          1. Mayweather didn't comfortably make the weight of 154 because he did not come in at that weight! Came in at 150. And then on fight night came in at 145.

          2. Martinez lied if he said he's a NATURAL Jr. Middleweight. A NATURAL Jr. Middleweight walks around 154 lbs. At max, 157. No more than that. Martinez isn't even a natural Middleweight fighter. He has to KILL himself, work hard as hell, just to make Middleweight at 160 lbs. He has a history of 30-day weigh-ins recorded at or above 170 lbs. So let's not even get into his true natural weight.

Actually when Mayweather was asked about Martinez he said and I quote, "Mortinez should fight Andre Dirrell to hearn his shot"

lmao...if sugar ray leonard, a natural welterweight, can move up to 168 lbs., to fight donny lalonde, for the 168 lb. and 175lb. titles in one fight, at a catchweight (with quarters in his drawers during the weigh-in), surely, were not asking floyd mayweather jr., to commit suicide...

All i asked was when did Floyd Jr. say that he wouldn't fight Segio. That's all I asked, and I've yet to get an answer. I would love for this fight to happen, I think a win over Martinez is the ultimate cement on his legacy, I hope it happens, but I'm not finna go speaking ill about a man that hasn't even been presented with negotiations. If it does happen, at 154, my money's on Floyd, but Sergio could take it. That's why this fight must happen.

He could make 140 but has said in the past he hates cutting weight so probably wouldn't be at his best
