    1. Floyds last fight was at 154, a weight he said himself he comfortably made and as we all know, a weight he looked really good at. Maintained his speed, carried his power well, etc.
    2. Martinez HIMSELF has said for many years hes a NATURAL Jr. Middleweight and is more than willing to make that weight for a Mayweather fight. Hes never made the full Middleweight limit, and never has rehydrated more than 10 lbs.

So can Mayweather-Martinez happen @ 154? Yes, based on what BOTH fighters have said in regards to that weight. Bottom line.

Great post. these are all fact's and I doubt either of these guy's are afraid of each other so they should just do it. This fight is bigger than Floyd vs. Pac IMO.

When has Mayweather ever weighed 154? He's small WW same as pac. That's the bottom line. So pac chooses not to fight Sergio and its fine but Mayweather is considered a duck for not fighting him. The double standards of the people on this site is ridiculous.

I never said Mayweather made 154. He weighed 151 against Cotto. What I did say was that he can comfortably make and perform very well at 154. And hes not a small WW at all. Hes a small Jr MW tho. And I never said Mayweather is a duck. Please dont put words in my mouth.

Don't worry Sr, Floyd Jr is only into fighting females now anyway so no chance of a Maravilla fight ever happening

No, Floyd weighed 150 lbs. And then on fight night, dropped a few pounds, entering the ring at 145 lbs. Things like that pretty much validate Mayweather Sr's statements. Floyd is NOT even a Jr. Middleweight. Not a small one, nor a large one. He's a true Welterweight, and the same goes for Pacquaio.

And when the fight is over and done with, Floyd walks around no more than 150 lbs. Whereas Martinez, walks around at around 180 lbs or more. You did see how much he weighed for his 30-day weigh-in against Chavez Jr. right? Notice how much he weighed for his 30-day weigh-in against Paul Williams too? Paul is quoted laughing about it saying that Martinez must walk around at like 200 lbs.

this mayweather guy is so ******. he thinks everybody is just as dumb as him. this guy got shot by his brother in law who he owed crack money to. he used floyd jr. as a human shield who was 5 yrs old at the time i think. then the brother in law who didn't want to shoot a kid decided to shot mayweather in the leg. get the facts straight. this guy is a pathological liar, must run in the family

The funny thing is that Martinez is physically on par with Ward. The 30-day weigh in for Chavez Jr., Martinez came in at 170 lbs. LOL. So you know he's big as hell, and big enough for Ward. But that's a doubtful fight to happen.

since nobody at 147 or 154 can beat him, lets have him fight at 160!

who DOESN'T martinez beat below 160? give me a break
