In this instance of him being jmw, id guess around 150 or so. Point being, hes in the same boat/'predicament' with either fighter, both canelo and sergio are in the same range fight night. Hell, shane mosley blows up to 165...at welterweight. Ortiz probably outweighed mayweather aswell.

Whoever wins will win because they are a better fighter, more skillled, etc.

So answer me this : if Sergio can make 154 and is willing to fight at any weight between 154 and 160 then why is the weight limit even an issue? Why is he worried about reaching an agreement on the weight?

Like i said, what if cotto wants 153 or something like that? or even 150

And yea agreements are usually very hard to reach and iMO you have to reach an agreement to have a fight.
