I do not see why there are some trying to get Martinez to move up or down. He is at the age where he should not bounce around. Also, he has plenty of good fights on the horizon. The middleweight division is just getting good and stacked again. Why abandon it?Martinez should stay at 160, forget about the Cotto's and Mayweather's of the world and make his place as the middleweight champion. He no longer has to chase after fights. He is now one of the go to men. He can make lots of history and money by staying put.

i agree and some are saying it's easier to move up than to move down but forget that sergio is about to be 38 so i doubt it is that easy for him to move up especially since it seems like sergio just moved up to middleweight 4- fights ago

sergio walks around 180-190 when not fighting. he should move up to 168 & take this challenge. he won absolutely nothing beating jr.

more money & legacy at 168 for sergio. there is nothing at 160 unless he goes back down to 154 vs floyd, cotto, or canelo.
