Vitali got his ass beat by a old Lennox Lewis who was past his prime and took the fight on short notice due to his opponent pulling out.

Prime Lewis would have dismantled Vitali within 5 rounds

One guy people don't bring up is a prime Sanders, a 38 year old out of shape Sanders who'd already became a pro golfer before fighting Vitali had him hurt bad in one of the early rounds, he really punched himself out and after that wasn't competitive, getting badly outboxed. Prime Sanders would've gone for the kill and have KOd him or at least dropped him, that would be a close fight however long it lasted.

All these names sound all fine & dandy but a 100% healthy Vitali Klitschko lays waste to every one of those names & you all know it. Go look in the dictionary for the word asterisk & you'll see Byrd & Lewis defining the meaning of it. I'll give those two kudos as both managed to win a collective total of 3 rds against him. They're the ONLY ones that can state this & it took them 15 rds to do so... yeah but they beat Klitschko fair & square... right?

He's never been behind on the cards or knocked down. He's very hard to match up against, he's a legend and ATG.

He could beat any fighter from the seventies. Holmes would be live though.

Lewis is the most definite choice that exists.

WTF? Vitali was 100% healthy when he got in the ring with Lewis, he was punched in the face until it was dangerous for him to continue. You can't get anymore legit than that.
