How is Anselmo Moreno ahead of Abner Mares P4P?????

Just seen them. Moreno in at #10, I'm surprised.

Would have thought Mares would have taken that spot, I think Golden Boy are expecting Mares to beat Moreno.

I think if anyone should have come in at #10, it's Froch.

And Moreno is my second favourite active fighter and Froch is probably my least favourite.

The Morel fight was as pointless as it gets for Mares. He should have just fought Nishioka for that title before the WBC screwed him, or I would have even preferred Terrazas over Morel at this point. But I thought off the strength of his fights against Perez, Darchinyan, and Agbeko that he'd get on there. But Moreno did dominate Darchinyan, while Mares had a could have gone either way fight with him, still came out with the W though.

Froch's destruction of Bute was great though, NO ONE thought Froch was going to win that fight. I don't like Froch that much, but he deserves some recognition too.

I'm a bit surprised Ward moved ahead of Sergio, given Dawson had to come down in weight. That was my only beef with that fight, the greats go up in weight most all the time. Ward should have beat Dawson at 175 in my opinion.

Its more of a respect/hate relationship.

I don't like Froch at all, I hate his style and I'm still trying to figure out how he's managed to achieve what he has.

But, he's earned my respect.

I've been on his case since 2005 and picked him to lose every fight he's been in since and including Jermain Taylor (except for Glen Johnson) and he keeps going out of his way and proving me wrong in huge ways.

He could easily have stayed in the UK and feasted on bums for years but he instead went out of his way to prove everyone wrong.

Like I said, I don't like the guy at all but he's earned my respect and then some.

And the damn Ring STILL left Felix Sturm as the #2 MW behind Ring champ Sergio and #1 Geale. Sturm shouldn't even be ahead of Macklin, let alone Golovkin. Sturm's best win lately has been Zbik, because he didn't beat Macklin or Murray.

Martinez dominates a cruiserweight while Ward dominates a zombie. Yet the guy fighting at home and draining his opponent gets the higher spot.

I didn't mind the Morel fight. I actually wanted Moreno to fight Morel.

Nothing special of a win but it's a decent win.

Mares and Froch remind me of each other in many ways. I actually don't rate either of them all that much but they fight the best and most of the time they beat the best.

It's a much better win cause Dawson is actually an elite fighter.

But lets completely ignore the fact that the dude was a zombie on fight night... Whether you accept it or not the weight was an issue and thats exactly what Ward was looking for. On my list Martinez goea ahead of Ward.
