Please. They want their hands where the money is. Khan,Garcia went through and that was recent... Wba and wbc.
That's funny.... Trout had the wba title.... Why can't he unify?
Ward was stripped too... But now he's champ again?Comment

as far as i know, theyve never tried to hide the fact that its about money. if someone unifies, then all the belts get multiple percentages of the purse. less money for them is unacceptable. which is why they will say fcuk off to their own rules when it comes to guys like floyd and manny and they start creating belts for them to win if they dont have one in the mix already.Comment

If I pay my sanctioning fees and defend my belt you can't ****ing strip me for no reason. What a corrupt crock of **** Suliman is.Comment

Which is why they stick their Diamond b.s in any fight that generates revenue and they don't have their hand in.as far as i know, theyve never tried to hide the fact that its about money. if someone unifies, then all the belts get multiple percentages of the purse. less money for them is unacceptable. which is why they will say fcuk off to their own rules when it comes to guys like floyd and manny and they start creating belts for them to win if they dont have one in the mix already.

And I applaud the mods for that. Now you're just being silly.I went to quote why from my tread this morning, only to find out that it was deleted. Seems to be happening to me a lo lately. I see a lot of name calling & different stuff happening on a daily, but I call out a couple people then boom, it's deleted.
Anyway in short, if the wbc takes away unifying their title, then ginger doesn't have to fact Trout, K-9, or any other belt holder in his weight class & all they have to do is give a welterweight or jr a ranking & make the fight.
"To protect ginger", that's so ******.Comment

I don't think they've given an official reason. It shouldn't be related to sanctioning fees because they could establish the % they want and other commissions can't change that. I think they're trying to stick it to their competition and steal away the fighters. At any rate, it hurts the sport, and the rule will likely be applied at Sulaiman's discretion. For example, they would never strip Mayweather for something like this.Last edited by Juanma9; 09-17-2012, 09:38 PM.Comment

Hopefully this will start pushing countries into not recognizing the WBC as a legitimate sanctioning body.
In Japan, the IBF and WBO are not recognised - will this push them into dropping the WBC & recognizing the IBF instead, which seems to the best out of the lot.
And what happens when the WBC try to strip one of the big, popular German champions because of this? - the Germans are not likely to be impressed.
And what happens if they try to strip one of the Klitchko's??
I see a lot of court cases in the WBC's future in they try such stunts Europe, with a possibility of them being referred to one of the higher EU courts, with their future as a recognized santioning body in Europe at stake.
Also the Russians are finally getting their stuff together in the pro game - watch how unimpressed they are likely to get if it happens a few times to some of their guys...
Or maybe we should just hope that the corrupt piece of garbage that is Jose Sulaiman will finally just ****ing die, & leave the boxing world atleast a slightly better place...Comment
